I want to shoot a short video with the below script for an explainer video. Happy just to hire someone to do the cartoon only.
Deep Video Script for Cartoon (draft)
{Narrator in blue type}
{Customer in red type}
This video provides two examples on how Deep’s limit orders work and one example of Deep’s on how call market works.
Check NBBO Order Type {pause} Here is how it works, let me give you an example, let’s say XYZ Stock has a bid price of $10.00 and offer price of $10.01
We have a customer that needs to sell 20,000 shares.
{Shows a cartoon figure of a person with a big head}
There are 3000 shares total sitting in the stock exchanges at the National Best Bid price
{Prices pop up to the right of the trader character in ¼ of a second intervals with bloop sounds.}
Bid Price $10.00
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq 1000 Bats
$10.00 $10.00 $10.00
1000 shares in NYSE, 1000 in Nasdaq and 1000 in Bats at ten dollars
{directly under the three quotes to the right of the character another character appears (full cartoon of body of person) labeled inside his chest:}
Deep Market Maker
2000 Deep
$9.99
Deep shows a single 25,000 share bid quote at $9.99 which is one cent less than the national best bid price
Hum
{finger pointing to face in confusion expression, character’s thought appears next to his head}
“I need to sell 20,000 shares.” {“sell 2000 shares” sits in a basket next to the character}
“I could hit each of the 100 share quote sitting in the stock exchanges at $10.00”
{Charactors arm with hand Stick person arm grabbing each 100 share lot and puts it into the basket reducing the basket from 2000 to 1700}
“But then I would still have 17,000 to sell”
Or maybe I should just pay an extra penny and hit Deep’s 25,000 share quote with my 20,000 share order for an immediate fill.
{Customer grabs the quote which is inside the chest area of the body of the market maker character. Market maker quickly grabs each 1000 share quote and swings his hand and arm with each of the hundred shares to put them in the basket reducing the 20,000 number in the basket, 19,000, 18,000, 17,000 and then from the body of the market maker the market maker grabs 17,000 shares with his hand and reaches over to put them in the basket and then the basket contents says 20,000 shares sold.
Our customer gets a fill for 20,000 shares at $9.99. Market maker gets a fill of 17,000 shares at $9.99 and a fill of 3000 shares at $10.00 making a one penny profit on the 3000 shares. Market maker makes a penny on each of the 3000 shares he grabbed from the stock market.
Our second example describes our Hide Side order type.
We show the same screen as the first example beginning showing the customer but this time only two orders.
Ask Price $10.01
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq
$10.01 $10.01
Bid Price $10.00
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq 1000 Bats
$10.00 $10.00 $10.00
Maybe I should place a limit order in a stock exchange to sell 20,000 shares at $10.01
On the screen the order moves from the customer and posts to his right along with the two other orders and immediately the two other orders separate and drop on the screen and become separated from the 2000 share order.a little by themselves with new prices
{screen one}
Ask Price $10.01
20,000 NYSE 1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq
$10.01 $10.01 $10.01
Bid Price $10.00
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq 1000 Bats
$10.00 $10.00 $10.00
{screen two}
2000 NYSE
$10.01
Ask Price $10.00
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq
$10.00 $10.00
Bid Price $9.99
1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq 1000 Bats
$10.00 $10.00 $10.00
I don’t like people jumping in front of me once they see my order. Maybe I will try Deep’s Hide Side order type.
Customer grabs 2000 shares out of his basket and reaches to place order
Ask Price $10.01
20,000 DEEP 1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq
$10.01 $10.01 $10.01
Bid Price $10.00
20,000 DEEP 1000 NYSE 1000 Nasdaq 1000 Bats
$10.00 $10.00 $10.00 $10.00
“Presto” {pause} no one can jump in front of me. We created a bid and an offer: the offer is real and the bid is a mirror image dummy bid. Market cannot tell which one is executable. This forces market participants to attempt to either buy or sell to find out which side is real. It provides a shield against penny jumpers. Real contra parties that want to trade can trade and those parties that want to make money from our customer’s order information won’t be able to.
Maybe I should try Deep’s call market?
Character grabs out of his basket 2000 shares and XYZ and throws it to the right of him where it is posted, immediately two quotes pop up directly under it.
2000 XYZ
$10.018 Offer Quote 2000 DEEP
$9.992 Bid Quote 2000 Deep
Customer grabs the $9.992 Bid Quote and puts it into his basket and then the words “2000 Shares Sold” appears inside his basket.
Notice that the prices offered are better than the posted Deep quote because the risk to a market maker associated with filling 2000 is less than the risk to fill 2500 shares. Prices are calibrated to the exact size of the order.

Hi
i recently completed an animation explainer project on freelancer so I have good experience with this style and requirements.
Please take a look at my portfolio to see my similar work.
A little bit about me:
I work to high standards and have a passion for design.
I don't design anything that I wouldn't use myself, and that's a big difference from most of the other bidders.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
