I already did almost the same for an Home Automation project: List current status of different devices (like temperature, door opened or closed, light on of off) and change them. I have 4 years of professional experience in android development and I think I should be able to finish the project within 3 days.

Dear Project Owner, I would like to pose a few relevant questions about the Android requirement that you have posted and then introduce myself: 1. Against which android versions/devices is the application supposed to be tested? 2. What are the possible number of screens? 3. How do we propose to test the wifi connectivity once the app is developed? Would you provide any simulator which simulates the device? In my earlier pursuits, this was one of the major bottlenecks. I have recently started on my own. I have worked in diverse technologies for the last 13+ years, and have been associated with Fortune 500 companies such as Siemens (Siemens PLM) and Cognizant. Being employed earlier with a product based company (SPLM), I have always been hands on, even when I was managing multi-level teams. I have implemented Android based enterprise mobility solutions in my previous organizations, which not only catered to the Android apps but also the server side technologies. At present, I along with my team are working on a few local Android, J2EE and Microsoft technology projects. I have a senior colleague who too has about 14+ years’ industrial IT experience and who oversees some of the projects.
