Seeking part-time bookkeeper who has solid knowledge of accounting procedures and hands-on QuickBooksOnline and Quickbooks Desktop experience.
A successful candidate:
* Knows debits and credits.
* Has done bank reconciliations.
* Has done AR, AP, cash accounting, fixed asset accounting, payroll, and depreciation.
* Has produced accurate financial statements.
* Has a good grasp of QuickBooksOnline and Quickbooks Deskstop
* Proficient with Excel, Dropbox and other cloud-based applications
* Prior experience in a CPA firm desirable but not required
* Is detail-oriented; takes pride in a job well done.
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*May be asked to perform other administrative tasks (client correspondence, emails, etc.)
*Experience with social media a+.
Looking for candidates that can work on-site, in the New York area, and/or remotely.
Hourly rate $10-25 per hour, depending on project assigned.
This position will be on-going for right candidates.
