Business Rule Engine, Excel Office Automation with Master Page Given the use of office automation or cell links between workbooks in Excel, create a method to take a master sheet containing budget amounts for an entire company and create distributions to numerous other company offices' spreadsheets based upon weighted averages, equal divisions, and other equations that would allow a user to select source value, a method of distribution, target offices and cell values. The method should use user friendly prompts to accomplish all these tasks and should result in a table that could be then be used to automate the actual distributions to the individual offices using office automation. It looks like this ability would require a business rule engine to allow the user to dynamicly build calculations. Some known steps to accomplish this task follow: Open a master sheet containing the formulas Open a target sheet (store) Copy each formula or value of the calculation from each source cell to the appropriate target cell(s) Save and Open the next target sheet Repeat across all the target sheets. This project will be for applying accounting allocations to hundreds of budgets. In the attached example the General Office Insurace of $800 needs to be allocated to Denver Store, Dallas Store, and Austin Store. Provide at least the following working examples in the solution. Example 1: Allocate the amount evenly. Example 2: Allocate the amount by weighted average of Total Expenses. Example 3: Allocate a specific amount. You should have the ability to complete this request based on the examples provided and knowledge of what typical Accounting Applications do in the subject matter area or be willing to research the subject matter as a part of this request.
