ASP / Javascript: Contract Approval Website Basic use of website is as follows; User: person signing up to use the service Client: persons contacted by user Administrator: owner of website 1. Sign-Up a. sign-up form for new users b. email of new user validated c. protection against automated sign-up 2. Log In a. user can log in b. user can retrieve forgotten password c. protection against unauthorised log in 3. Contract Creation a. user creates personalised contract from one of various contract templates b. user saves contract to his account c. contract can be revised (incrementing revision numbers) 4. Distribution List a. user via form creates a distribution list of clients (company, name , email) b. alternatively distribution list can be created by uploading a formatted text file c. user can add / delete clients on distribution list d. standard user is limited to max 100 clients professional user does not have this limit 5. Contract Distribution a. user must have been approved by admin before he can send emails b. user distributes contract via email to any/all of his clients c. client is asked to confirm / decline acceptance of contract by clicking on link in email and inserting a code from email d. clients response is recorded in DB and emailed to both client and user e. email to client includes instructions / code allowing him to modify his response at a later stage 6. User Admin a. user can view list of responses from clients b. user can view history of responses from client c. user can resend contracts to clients 7. Website Administrator a. create / modify contract templates b. disable / enable new registrations c. disable / enable sending contracts d. disable / enable users e. make user standard / professional f. email users / broadcast users g. view daily / monthly / yearly stats h. browse/search action logs • The graphic design of website has already been completed. We require only the interface as above. • Interface should be carefully coded / commented in ASP 2.0 and Javascript • Initially database should be Access with option to switch to SQL • Look and feel of all elements of the interface should be defined in external CSS stylesheet. • All texts should be defined in external file to allow for multiple languages. User can choose language. • All actions should be logged. We are programming company with need to outsource. Comments / suggestions from programmer welcome. Please do not waste our time if you are not able to professionally manage and code this project. We will carefully check all work and we will not accept sloppy code.
