My father graduated veterinary school in 1989. Immediately out of school he started up his own private practice in a rural community of Southern Oregon. Business was incredibly slow at first, but over the years he developed a large client base and became very successful. To his joy, I decided to follow the same career path and i'm currently in my final semester of veterinary school. My plan upon graduation is to return home and continue my father's legacy by gaining practice ownership and expanding his clinic even further. Attached are the original business logos that he had created in 1992. I'm looking for an artist who can "update" or "modernize" the company logo without extracting the fundamentals that my father originally created. Can you put some life into this logo while still honoring my dad? I intend on using the improved logo on multiple employee clothing articles, professional attire, business cards, etc...   I initially thought I would want to tie in our names to the logo, but I've recently changed my mind. I think it wouldn't look as classy on staff uniforms especially.

I'd like to first start off with an apology for my absence the past few days. I was very busy preparing for an exam that was held this morning.
