Here is the logo with updates based on your feedback, I have to say the choice that i went with looks better rather than using to color combination. So my choice would be black and blue or Red and black as you can see at the bottom.

Drop the Freiburger Wirtschaftswissenschaftler and try a few variations of the tower. Youre right the first version looked better! You could also try out a new concept if you wish! But good going and nice thought that went into this! We're looking forward to you next submission!

please have a look at what other "designers" have submitted only mockups to make their logo look better because it does not look on a plain white background. this is a very elegant and classy looking logo.
