Hi

I am looking for a logo for a movie website. The site is about movies and tv series and contains news and a movie and tv series database with infos.

I have not really an idea how the logo should exactly look like but I can give you some hints what I like and what I dislike. At the end of this entry I also wrote about logo colors, syntax and file size / proposition.
So please read carefully so you get an good idea what I am looking for.

What I want in my logo:

Flat and modern design

What I DON'T want:

Ugly, shiny 3D effects or reflections, ugly shadows, movie equipment in the logo (like film reels, cameras, clapboards).

What do I mean with "ugly shadows"? It's easy. In flat design there are sometimes used shadows like here:

That is okay to me.

But I don't want ugly shadows as in this examples:

This is also okay (but maybe not the deformation).

So here are some more details about the look:

Colors: I thought about red (typical for movie) and black as main colors. Maybe black font and red as accent. But I am open minded to other suggestions and if you find another color combination that is awesome feel free to do it.

The name of the movie site is MovieHint so maybe you can use the meaning of the name in the logo (but it is not a premise).

The logo can be a word mark or a figurative mark with letters/text. I also maybe would like the shortcuts of MovieHint (MH) as big letters and below the full name MovieHint. A good example what I am talking about is this (but this is just an idea and not necessary):

Format:
The logo has to fit into a 16:9 proportion so please do not make a logo like 600x2000 pixels or 100 x 400 pixels.
I would like to have the logo as vector graphic or at least png in high resolution (1920x1080, 300 DPI)

Ah yes, very important: The syntax of the brand is

MovieHint

and NOT

moviehint
Movie Hint
MOVIE HINT

or something else.

So please use the correct syntax. The logo will be used for the website and as watermark and as intro for clips so maybe you want to know that for your design.
