I am a videographer and I am looking for a creative editor to work with me as an editor on my projects. I shoot cars, food and beverage, events, and more. You can find my work on my website:

For this contest, I put some sample footage that you can use to show me your best work. If you win, I will work with you long term (I may choose multiple winners). There are 3 options for videos you can work on:

- Option 1: Horse Race
A while ago I went shooting in this horse race. There was no particular goal but I got some nice shots. I am looking to create a short edit (25-40s) that has some sort of story/sequence (you can create the story/sequence any way you like). Include fast cuts, sound design, seemless transitions, and whatever you see fit. I am thinking some epic music would go nice with this but you're free to show me what you have in mind. I would advise to check all the shots thoroughly to be able to choose the best cuts.
By the way, this was shot in Sony S-log3 so you need to be able to color that. (also in 10-bit so big files)

- Option 2: Coffee rooftop music night
There was a music night at this coffee shop, they brought a local artist who played the oud and sang traditional/local songs. I want a short vertical video (20-30s long) to be used for social media to promote the event/night. I included some audio recorded from the night that you can use as the track, or incorporate in some parts along with another music track from your choice. The vibe should be chill, winter and coffee, fireplace, people singing along, clapping. Include shots of the coffee cups with people and the logo showing, and try to add some nice animation to the logo to show your motion graphics skills.
There is drone footage too.. it's not the best quality but try to use the best out of it. The video should be vertical (camera footage is filmed vertically but drone footage is filmed in normal 16:9) A bonus would be if you know Arabic, you can add a part of what the artist and some guys from the audience said to the camera at the end of the night.

- Option 3: Hotel rooftop lounge (2 reels)
This hotel (radisson) newly opened their new rooftop lounge area. They want to promote it with some short reels. We shot the place, food, deserts, and drinks being served, etc. Try to create a nice and professional edit showcasing the place. Use a mix of close, wide, medium shots. Choose the best clips and come up with a 2 short edits (15-20s) long. Each reel should have a different vibe/focus. You can can check the footage and sort the clips into 2 videos so that there are no clips being repeated.

I need someone with a good eye who knows what type of music to choose, the tempo of edit, using appropriate transitions, and color grading.

You must have knowledge of motion graphics (for logo animation.. etc.) and visual effects.
Also, because the files are usually large you need to have a speedy internet connection to be able to download the files quickly in the long term if I like your work.
Use stabilisation, speed ramping, lights, vfx, etc. where you see appropriate.

You can submit as a video or as a link. The earlier you submit the better. I put the contest up for 5 days but if you finish within a day or two it would be better. I want an editor that is efficient and can get through work as fast as possible.
