NB: We will reject anything that does not meet these rules:
- Original ideas only - anything that looks like it has been done with a logo generator or is not your own work
- 2D only, on plain backgrounds
- Do not submit multiple mockups of the same logo

We require a logo for a company called "Norstar Technologies", the logo should be focused around "Norstar"

The company manufacturers network and communication equipment such as routers, modems and satellite communications. You have creative freedom within the following constraints:

1. The logo must be scalable to work on a variety of screen sizes and backgrounds - please show your logo on a plain BLACK background.
2. The logo must have solid edges, no background blurs or gradients
3. The logo must be a vector image - no bitmaps
4. The final artwork must be provided in a either eps or ai format.

The colour palette available is white, gold and orange. You can use any of those colours, or a combination of those colours.

  Abu Yusof M. You are wrong. The client doesn't see from the designer's viewpoint. Part of the designer's job is to try to understand the client's vision. The brief doesn't cover all aspects of design. In designer-to-client projects, the designer communicates with the client using their own questionnaire to narrow down some ideas and work efficiently.

  Mark, I understand you have to please your client. But in my opinion, if you have an education in design, you should try to educate your client on logo designs. If they refuse to hear, well I guess then they just like generic logos. To each their own, but from a designer standpoint, nothing is more frustrating than reading a description that says "Original ideas only" and the only ones to get rated are the opposite. All that time wasted into coming up with an original idea. It deters real designers from using freelancer and has turned freelancer into a generic logo factory. End rant
