  Thank you everyone. Some genuinely amazing entries that blew my mind with how good they were.
  
  Will begin the judging process, with my team and will post the results.
  
  Potentially good news... We are preparing 7 books at the moment. So, even though there can be only one winner of the competition, we are seriously considering hiring three illustrators from among the contest entrants.
  
  Will announce the winners by 30th November at the absolute latest. (Likely earlier.)

  For all artists who are contacting me to let me know that they are preparing something, please be at ease, I won't end it early.
  
  I will keep the contest open to the deadline day, and will choose the winner then.
  
  I will also provide feedback and suggestions if required, so do not hesitate to post sketches, and early drafts for guidance. You can keep posting until you are happy with your final submission.
  
  You can even post multiple submissions, but only if they are in different styles. Mulitple images of the same style, will only be considered as one entry. But please only post styles that you are confident in continuing work in.
  
  Once again, I remind everyone that in addition to the prize, the winner will be hired to illustrate one full book, with the possibility of another six if we are happy with their work.

     The winner of the contest will not only get the prize money, but also given the job of illustrating one of the books. If we are happy with that, we'll rehire them for the rest.
     
     Thank you for the warning. I'm aware of this, which is why I've made a very specific job request. If the artist fails to deliver according to it, their work will not be taken into consideration.

     Regarding AI generated images, absolutely not.
     
     I'm looking for someone who can illustrate a number of books, where each page tells a very specific story, and the artwork throughout must have a uniformed feel.
     
     This cannot be done with AI.
     
     If the illustrator cannot do our work after winning this contest, I will not hide my disappointment with them.

     I'm flexible on the style. As long as it is child-friendly, I'll be ok with it.
     
     Please remember that we'll need 25ish pages per book from the winner, so please choose a style you're comfortable with, and what won't be a nightmare for you to do repeatedly.
