The app using the icon will be an interior designer that allows users to draw floor plans, furnish their apartments and to view everything in 3D.

It is very important that it's easy for everybody to see what exactly the app can do. On the other hand the icon should not be too complex.

I've attached a screenshot of the Mac App Store. Of course the app icon must fit to the style common there, but it should also be an eye-catcher at the same time.
