My professional career started with Hewlett-Packard, designing enterprise scale server equipment. I spent some time working with the U.S. intelligence community reverse engineering devices and creating spy gadgets. Most recently I've been working the startups of Silicon Valley. On the side I've launched near space balloons, restored antique vehicles, built a viking ship fireplace from ferrocement, and many other maker type projects.
