Project Title : Clear case to TFVC converter Scope of the Project : Conversion of clearcase repository to TFVC Duration : Jan 2006 - Dec 2006 Team Size : 15 Role/Responsibilities : Design-Implementation of the converter. • The challenge was to convert a three dimensional clearcase repository (version, folder, branch) to two dimensional TFVC repository (version, branch). Software Tools : Team foundation system Project Title : Plugin development for various email clients to enable identity based encryption. Scope of the Project : Client offers an easy to use end-to-end security system. It uses revolutionary identity based encryption technology developed at Stanford University. The project involves writing plugins for Outlook express, Internet explorer (Hotmail, Yahoo, OWA) and Lotus Notes. Duration : Feb 2003 – on going Team Size : 8 Role/Responsibilities : Design-Implementation of Outlook Express and Internet explorer plugin. • Implementation of outlook express plugin. This is a plugin for Outlook Express for incorporating client's IBE technology. The single most important requirement specification was “seamless integration with Outlook Express”. The challenge was zero programming support from Outlook Express for the plugin development. This plugin is developed and released to the client. The detail comparison study of this plugin with other three plugins point out the fact that, this plugin is far ahead of any other plugin developed for Outlook Express. • IE plugin is developed using BHO objects. Software Tools : Microsoft Visual Studio, VC++, COM Project Title : Remote System Administration Solutions Scope of the Project : Client providers software product to enable enterprises to securely provision and manage networks of servers running multiple software configurations across multiple operating systems (UNIX, NT and Linux, Solaris) from a single, open command and control console. Persistent team is currently working on developing the following components from concept to completion. • Patch management for Windows, Solaris and Linux. • Remote deployment of assets to keep servers in sync. • Reporting on existing state of the servers and ROI Duration : Nov 2002 – Feb 2003 Team Size : 5 Role/Responsibilities : Design-Implementation of identifying patches required for the system. The sub-system I am working on user interface for a sample entry table called WorklistUI. WorklistUI is an ActiveX control wrapping a third party control Tidestone-F1 control. This control is developed in Visual Basic 6.0.WorklistUI talks to other controls like worklist data manager, worklist control manager, UI framework. As well as other controls can call methods on WorklistUI interface.
