• To perform Multi Body Dynamic analysis of Power trains & its subsystems like Transmission, Differential, Axle etc. using Romax 14. • Analyze effects of spur, helical, bevel, spiral gears, gear shift mechanism, duty cycle, lubrication, shafts, seals, boundary conditions and housing stiffness on performance of bearings. • Analyzing and optimizing Bearings for life, stress, deformation etc. in Romax and validating it using hand calculation. • Provide design recommendation & participate in product design and development based on the interpretation of analysis results. • Escalating the vital characteristic considering Tribologycal aspects of the product. • Working in PLM (Windchill), SAP environment. • Knowledge of tools like QFD, DFMEA, DOE and DVP. • Part of various CFT’s for analysis of field failures, developing new products etc. • Analyzing various RFQ’s for the Customers and recommend bearings according to their application requirement. • Support rest of the departments for testing, prototyping & manufacturing the designed product with the required necessary inputs. Projects: • Simulation & Analysis of various gearbox (automatic & manual), differential, axles for on-road & off-road vehicles in Romax 14. Export Customers: - BMW, Magna Power Train, Getrag, Honda Domestic Customers: - Ashok Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, John Deer etc. • Researched, designed & developed low torque fuel efficient bearings for gearbox.
