Google glass is a product developed by Google. According to Muensterer et al. (2014) the innovativeness present in the portable IT is moving a very fast pace. The Google glass is one such product, which consists of dual functionality glasses, which incorporate computer functionality as seen in figure 1 below. The computer functionality of Google glass is attributed to an internal computerized processing unit as well as an integrated high definition camera (Muensterer et al., 2014). Other features include a touch screen as well as a display screen useful for the user. Safavi and Shukur (2014, p. 109) noted the innovativeness of the Google glass has allowed for the automatic “face detection” as well as technique for tracking eye movement within the products functionality. Google glass versatility enables the user to record movies (Safavi & Shukur, 2014).
