Hi,
I am an experienced structural engineer and FE analyst (Berechnungsingenieur), working also as a university professor in FEM. My area of expertise is reliable static, dynamic (impact and drop test analyses), and thermo-mechanical finite element analyses for various industries, with results elaboration under the limit, ultimate, and fatigue analysis. I also have large experience in extracting the mechanical material parameters of new composites.
In addition, I also perform integral simulations of the energy performance of buildings. I can calculate exact energy gains and losses in kWh/m2/year using DesignBuilder/Energy+, per 24hours/365days method, and tailor the parameters for green building construction.
I am also a finite element developer and have my own FE code based on the primal-mixed FE method, which is published in high-ranked scientific journals.
FE simulations that I have performed for clients include projects such as impact protection systems, motorbike, and bicycle helmets, rotary kilns, fire protection doors, wind turbines, pile-soil interaction, and geotextile tubes filled with soil. fiber optic sensors in composites, rollercoasters, railway boogies, coffee machines, ropeway ropes (cables), urinary bladder, scaffold designs, railway chassis, and composite material parameter identifications.
My highest degree is Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics.
I am accepting invitations to work on:
- FE simulations
- coaching in FE
- checking on FORTRAN FE codes
- new structural designs
- material parameterization of composites
