I have a lot of work experiences: news reporter, advertising sales executive, office manager, legal researcher and then as an HR professional. Of all these experiences, I enjoyed working as an HR professional the most. I worked in HR in the BPO industry in the Philippines and rose from a Coordinator to the Manager level. My forte was in employee relations. I made sure that all newly hired employees understand the policies of the company, that the policies are well implemented and processed disciplinary cases. I also did a bit of data management, payroll and employee benefits. As Manager, I was exposed to attrition data analysis and resolution, succession planning, strategic planning, and project management. I also love writing. Articles, essays, features, short stories. I have done a lot of article writing online in the last couple of years. I also had a short stint on forum moderation in my last online job.
