I have been a professional drafter for the past 10 years. I have focused primarily on structural drafting for a variety of engineering firms. I am also known by my friends and co-workers as the go-to CAD wiz. I have used every release of AutoCAD from 2002 to the current 2017. I am proud of the fact that I test new features and incorporate any that will help save time in updating drawings. I stand by my belief that it is not just how fast you can get the information into the computer but how quickly and accurately you can update the files when things change that matters. I have been working with the Revit software for a few years now and have come to know the pros, cons and idiosyncrasies of that software as well. I have done many projects involving the creation of custom families for furniture and interiors as well as large multi-family projects. I use Sketch-up for projects that require more 3D views and options but don't need 2D plans printed.
