The screen is often the first treatment station for loaded wastewater. It protects the downstream structures against the arrival of objects (wipes, tows, stones, etc.) that may cause blockages in the connecting pipes, the lift pumps, and in the various components of the installation. It also makes it possible to easily separate and evacuate the bulky materials carried by the raw water which could impair the effectiveness of water and sludge treatments, or complicate their execution and operation. Designed entirely in stainless steel for wastewater, it can be manual for the screen basket or automatic for the ranges of motorized screen screens. Screening refusals are collected in trash containers, or bagged by a bagging machine with or without prior compaction (using a compacting screw) allowing easier disposal in the household waste sector or in specialized sector.
