Electronic Voting Booth
EV-Booth is a computer based online voting system. An online database contains all the data related to election e.g. voter list, candidates list, casted votes etc. Each voter is uniquely identified with his/her Smart Card (SNIC) and also verified from the database before voting. Voting application, with the help of database, implements the checks to ensure the conformity of election rules such as that one person can vote only once. Preparation of results is automated and results can be shown on a website in real-time or at the end of voting. People can get real-time results of each constituency on website or via SMS. An android application is also developed which provides results and enables the user to cast vote after necessary verification.
