Hi JDD equipment, with its four employees, is a small company that mainly operates in online sales of wearing parts and supplies, but also working lighting, warning lights and rear view cameras. Our customers are private individuals, wholesalers, enterprises and small and large businesses. As of now our webshop solution is a combination of WordPress, Woocommerce (with various plugins) and Mamut. We also have integration of SEO, make use of MailChimp, Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Facebook advertising. Response/load time of the site/shop it also important. All operation of the website/store, besides creating and editing products, is controlled by a partner, but we are interested to hear what others can offer either on a similar type of platform, or other solutions that may be a better fit (Magento?). This is because it may eventually be necessary to switch partner and also develop a complete new webshop solution. A measure will be a solution that can either be set up together with us, or set up for us where we are capable of taking over the daily operations, making visual changes and technical changes on a non developer level. It is also important for us to have a partner we can come to that can develop the solution further regarding wishes and needs, and take care of what we do not have the expertise to do ourselves. The new webshop as the current one have to be in Norwegian as we only allow shopping in country as it is. We would therefore like to hear what you can offer when it come to various solutions and an estimated price of these. Magento is available in 3 different flavors-Community edition(open Source), Enterprise edition & Magento Go(hosted solution). Please confirm me which one you prefer? Ah, one more thing, did you mean Mamut CRM? All are okay. I have no problem to work with this platform. But for you, to manage the store from back end may be to some extents complex work. I believe, you have some experience working with Word Press, Magento’s complexity may seem quite daunting comparatively. Although It is no doubt that Magento is the most flexible & powerful solution for e-commerce, but I would not say you to change the platform of existing site , until it is necessary. AS per my experience, you can better manage your store through woo commerce rather than Magento. Anyway, Magento has thousands of extensions which are completely free of cost - Magento has a unique feature i.e ‘Magento SEO’. Magento seo has solved multiple issues by facilitating this unique feature. By this feature, the e-commerce site is better optimized. Duplicate content, page traffic, indexing, landing pages are efficiently managed by Magento seo. - It provides multiple store management, multiple stores be easily controlled from a single admin panel. - Magento shopping cart helps customer to follow the step by step process for purchasing the desired product. It provides many payment gateway options. May I know the reason of your switching? Do you need to add extra feature or any other logic? Hoping to have a discussion.
