Design It Jewlz isn't a traditional jeweler. We have this idea that our customers deserve Jewellery that's uniquely them. That's made for them. They can put something of themselves in a piece of jewellery. They design it. They give it meaning. Our business is allowing our customers to customize and personalize our Jewellery to suit them. Customers can choose their own gemstone and metal colour (i.e yellow gold, white gold etc) to create their ultimate piece just the way the like it. **Please review our specifications below:** Our website will require around 15 pages to be designed although, we will only be running a competition for 3 of our main pages. The successful applicant will be offered the remaining pages. **The 3 pages that require a design are:** **1) ****The Showroom landing page -<[login to view URL]>** **2) ****The Search Result page -<[login to view URL]>** **3) ****Product Detail Page -**<[login to view URL]> The abovementioned are our main sections of the website, and we also have few other pages with pops up as an option or setting page for products or stuff, which some radio buttons , images , checkbox etc. **WHAT WE REQUIRE:** **1)** Contemporary and elegant with a new age (2012) style that is modern and impressive. We don't want to use too many colors for the GUI, but what ever we use must be striking and slik. You can visit [[login to view URL]][1], we want you to go thoroughly through this website and keep elements in mind for eg. : Smooth thinline borders, the way images load (Jquery), the clean popup layouts , nice thumbnails etc. we don't want you to copy any other aspect of this website as this seems to be very plain to us. **2)** The website must validate in all cross platform browser and it must be designed in pure css/xhtml or html page, and this is a database driven website and its done in .net, this is just for your reference, you just have to provide us master PSD files and xhtml or html/css files, our programmer will in-corperate his coding in to it, but we suggest you visit our current website <[login to view URL]>, this is our current home page, please don't follow or use any elements from here, we suggest you visit our current design (in which we are not happy with the design) just for functionality sake, so that you know different elements , popups on the website. **Please note that**: We have **attached our logo below** (Please feel free to change the colours of this logo to your design) **Refer to attached Logo** We have also attached a design brief (this is purely a guide for the elements that we need in each of the pages). Feel free to propose your thoughts and design in this respect. **Refer to attached Powerpoint.** <[login to view URL]> is our**product detail page**, this is a very important page since it will show details of each product, its various views etc, we want this to have a very nice look and it should seamlessly blend with the overall theme of the website you design. If you **click Engrave link** you will see a popup comes with different options, this is what I was talking about different popups, do you think you can do this? or will it be considered as a different page ? since it doesn't have much to be done, it should just match with overall website. Above product image you will see a Search bar where you have Type of product, Gem type etc, we want this to have a very nice look, Also we suggest you to keep your focus on footer, and try to be creative in putting links in footer, we just don't want plain colored footer, Also in header area we need to highlight our phone number, logo and chat links, and currently it has plain header with white background , we leave it up to you to come up with amazing ideas, but please do keep in mind that this is a Jewelry website, so the business is much inclined towards females, so please try to give it a bit of feminine touch. We will have various pages for studio section, but they are small pages with few options, thumbnails etc, so you please give us your idea as how to go about them since they are not real pages but just popups on the website. Please incorporate a bold Social Media Presence. NOTE: The winner of this competition will most likely be used to complete many other pages of this site and most likely will be asked to join our team for ongoing updates for this project over the next few years.
