Snapyourevent photo gallery project I run a photobooth business. The photobooth has a laptop running software on it and a printer. The photo’s are printed at the event. After the event, I upload the photo’s to my website (a wordpress website) via ftp. Then with NextGen gallery I create an album that I put on a specific page that I password protect (in wordpress). The page can thus only be accessed with this password. The guests who were at the event have this password because it is printed on the prints. Now I would like to change 2 things: 1) Add the possibility to order prints from my website. For this I want to use the service of Oypo.nl. Info on how to integrate Oypo via Javascript on a website: [login to view URL] and here: [login to view URL] 2) I want to add the possibility to password protect every printed photo, not only the whole gallery. This can be achieved as follows: the photobooth software that I use can create automatically tokens (a unique code). This token can be printed on the print. This way the guests have the password (token) with which they will be able to view their photo later online (by going to my website [login to view URL]). The print is also saved digitally by the photobooth software, and the filename is the same as the token. So if the token is PRU32129 (which will be printed on the print), then the filename would be PRU32129.jpg. After the event, I manually upload all the images to a folder on the server. The Wordpress gallery should interpret the filenames and use it as access code. One complication: a photobooth shooting sequence usually consists of 3 or 4 photos that are combined into one print (typical small photobooth strip, see example further). So after each shoot of let’s say 4 photos, there will be 5 jpg files: the strip, and the 4 composing images. I want people to be able to download (and order prints via Oypo) not only the strip, but also it’s composing images. Fyi: if the strip has token and filename [login to view URL], then the composing images have filenames: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] (generated by the photobooth software automatically) To summarize: Create wordpress image gallery, linked with printing service [login to view URL] that can be used in two ways: • ‘individual mode’: every guest has a unique token. By entering this token on the website, he will see the strip (of which he has a print) and the 3 or 4 composing images. He will be able to see thumbnails and medium resolution image by clicking on the thumbnail. He will have the option to order a high resolution print (so only the printing service Oypo must have access to the highest resolution version of the images, not the guest). -->See scenario 1 attached • ‘group mode’: all guest who were at an event have the same token. By entering this token on the website, they will see all images taken at the event. They can order a print of any image (again, only Oypo should have access to the highest res.
