We are launching a new e-commerce business, and need a web developer/designer to help build the site. We are also looking for someone who would be interested in a virtual/remote CTO position, and would also consider equity. To be considered for a virtual position you must be able to prove youâve performed at a high level in that environment multiple times in the past.
We need someone who can design, and build dynamic and mobile responsive landing pages, order forms, HTML emails, etc.
In order to be considered, you MUST have demonstrable skill in the following areas:
HTML (very experienced)
CSS (very experienced)
PHP (very experienced)
Javascript (very experienced)
SQL syntax and querying a database (very experienced)
Responsive principles (will need to demonstrate grasp of concept and show examples)
UX optimization
Site tuning and performance optimization (HTTP Profiling, PageSpeed, etc.)
CMS experience (ie. Wordpress, Drupal, etc)
Ecommerce experience
It would also be great if you have:
Strong design skills
Direct response online marketing
Understanding of what an âonline sales funnelâ is
Marketing automation systems such as InfusionSoft, SilverPop, Bronto, etcâ¦
JQuery
HTML5
node.js
In order for us to consider you, you will need to:
1. have a strong portfolio and breadth of experience, especially in ecommerce
2. have the ability to wireframe concepts quickly
3. can work with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
4. understand SEO and how to build sites that support a strong SEO focus
