Video Editor Contractor

Innovative freelance role for an exceptional video editor to assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting online. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. The finished project will consist of twelve, three–six-minute-long videos that highlight the Working While Black campaign’s vision, and are suitable for broadcasting for our community. Responsibilities include cutting and editing film footage until it meets a director's approval. Rearranging and splicing scenes that have already been shot, and insert music, sound, or optical effects. Must have a demonstrated ability to edit video footage in a manner that unites text, sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. Samples of work are required.
