I am looking for a gaming software engineer to build a prototype
I have designed a game which is currently in table-top format. I need to digitise the basic engine of the game, so that I can model its behaviour whilst I change different parameters. The final game will have 3 formats; gambling, social gaming and a strategy game. All three will use the same basic engine. In a later phase I want to build a compelling UX for each format. Right now I just need to digitise the engine and add some basic reporting/totalising. Unity looks like a good tool for achieving this.
I need to be able to run the game (i) in an automated mode, through multiple cycles without human intervention and (ii) also be able to physically play the game interactively with up to 12 players, and (iii) run a combination of both.
I know of no similar game. There are few basic rules and they are not complex. However, the build will have to allow me to adjust (about 10) different parameters without further programing. Ultimately the game should run on a cloud platform accessible from multiple devices. There should be nothing in the build to preclude this, however for this phase, the prototype could run on a laptop (I have a Mac).
To give you an idea of the complexity I think this game will require less programing than one might see in a automated poker game. I have written a design spec and I am looking for an engineer to build it. Hopefully, though not essentially, that person will have the UI/UX gaming skills and experience for the future phases.
Hi. It's my pleasure to work on this project.
Write all details please. Thank you very much

I really enjoy table-top games, and I am excited to hear your ideas! I understand that at this stage, you are looking to have your idea implemented in Unity and have various testing options, as opposed to having the full, polished, ready-for-release game. You will probably need a functional AI, and I am not sure if you intend for it to have local multiplayer or online multiplayer at this stage?
I am a freelance game developer who has been working with Unity for over 3 years. I have a master's degree in Games Technology and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am confident I can make your game happen.
I agree that Unity sounds perfect for quickly developing this game. That way we can also make it work on multiple devices in the future without much additional work.
I look forward to hearing more details and discussing your game.
I have 1 year commercial and 5 years educational experience with the Unity3D engine as a programmer but having designed, built, tested, bug fixed and deployed 3 apps in the last 6 months for a commercial contract I have a decent amount of experience required for your project.
I look forward to hearing from you and if you want to ask me anything to clear up anything feel free to get in contact.
