Hi,
It is Erhan, a former judge and a native Turkish speaker freelancer and linguist, from Turkey.
I believe that being able to recognize and flag idiomatic translation issue is related to be familiar with the culture of the source language. I have been in the U.S. with my family for one year. Therefore, I know a lot about the culture, English language and things that cannot be found in the books. So, I can translate from English to Turkish and vice versa.
I am 42 years old and have worked as a judge in Turkey for 17 years. It means that I am a master all the subtleties of the Turkish. That is, I am very good at language skills, such as grammar and idiomatic language. Because, I have written more than 10.000 pages in my decisions.
I am very good at computer and MS Word as well.
Also watching TV series and movies is my hobby. That is why I like subtitling.
If you need to hire a wise man, it is me.
Sincerely,
Erhan Inal
