We need the to-be developed MTS 3D Application (including the base 3D engine) to provide the following basic functions:
- Read from configuration file to switch on/off certain effect, to use different level of details of 3D models
- Read static data from file to initialize the whole scene (call 3D base engine API)
- Read vessel movement data from file to generate animation of vessel movements
- User can easily navigate in the view or switch view through mouse or keyboard
- Animation output can be exported to AVI file
