Project scope
Create a document management system for construction projects.
Potential for managing approximately 80 different document types
Initially the documents will be scans (creating forms will be treated as a separate project)
Search capabilities for RFI/ change orders
Both RFI and change order documents need to be flagged as either open or closed
Reports pulling all open or closed documents will need to be generated with the capability to print all open RFIs without opening and printing individually.
Exchange 2012 mail integration to SharePoint
Site mailbox integration with team member editing
capability of mass printing and/ or mass exporting all documents related to a specific project
Catalog documents with the appropriate tags
Process should be automated to allow team members to be prompted via a pull down menu for appropriate tags when entering a document
Search capabilities
Structured search with pull down menus to assist users in seeing document search options
Quick search capability
Security and document access rights
Basic divisions
Members with capability to create documents
Members with rights to view documents

Separate document category with its own membership
