eCommerce Site - Ruby on Rails

We are currently looking to develop an eCommerce platform with Ruby on Rails and MySQL. ? The site will contain? the following general functionality: - user registration - user posting of an item for sale at a fixed price - attaching set characteristics to an item for sale (i.e. category) - capability to group items by various data points (location, seller, category of item, etc) - buy an item from the platform - payment processing (through paypal or other transaction processing) - placing an item into escrow - initiate question to seller - email notification generator The development of our platform will incorporate all of the above functionality and additional requirements to be? defined later. ?
