Perfect Tense is an automated grammar correction tool. When added to Wordpress, Perfect Tense will correct spelling and grammatical mistakes in posts as well as score the overall grammar quality of the content. This plugin will use our API/SDK in 3 places, this is the general workflow: On any post page, a user will be able to click a button that will have Perfect Tense proofread their post. This will pop up a modal that displays the original grammar score and all errors and suggested corrections. The user will have the option to check and uncheck boxes to have those changes applied or not. Choosing to apply changes will tell Perfect Tense to automatically update the post with all selected corrections. On the “all posts” page, 2 columns will be added that show users the last time a post was proofread by Perfect Tense and the grammar score of a post. There will also be 2 bulk actions that Perfect Tense can perform. The first is to have Perfect Tense automatically correct all selected posts and the second is to have Perfect Tense score all selected posts. Because these are bulk actions, there will be status bars displayed on the plugin page. Perfect Tense will have a plugin page. This page will show the status bar of bulk jobs while they are processing. In addition, a user will be able to update their API key here. There are also 2 automated actions that a user can choose on this page. The first will automatically place comments that have below a certain grammar score in the spam tab. The second action will check the grammar score of any post before it is published (internal or from api/xml etc) and either save it as a draft for an admin to look over or automatically correct the errors and publish the post.

Answers to Questions: Automatic actions: a. Whenever a new post is submitted - it can be by way of xmlrpc, api or user submitted post from frontend. System will need to call the necessary API for checking grammer when the setting is checked. Background workers: a. To setup the WordPress cron for setting up the bulk job background workers. b. The cron will process the bulk jobs even after closing of Browser. PHP SDK a. The documentation of the PHP SDK is clear. b. So far the methods and objects look okay. However one question is about the: PTInteractiveEditor object - Actually what it represents and its usage? We need more information about its functionality. If we have any specific doubts while during project execution we can get clarified of them at that time. c. We intend to implement the API endpoint calls and process the JSON response objects from the proposed plugin code implementation. Approx time to complete the plugin development: 30 - 35 days (WordPress Senior only project) Thanks Gopal
