We have a medium sized Symfony project. Its an advanced image gallery that supports 500000+ images. It also has features like registration and private albums viewable only by registered members. The project runs on PHP, Nginx, MySQL, Memcached, APC and needs to support 2000req/s. Performance is VERY important along with security. The only problem is that the project was written by junior-middle developer, so it probably has bad code, security issues and performance impacting bugs. I am looking for a very experienced PHP Symfony developer to review the project and the code and then fix and improve the most important stuff. I would expect him to review the code then then create a report with parts that can be improved, why they need to be improved and how many hours it will take. This way I can prioritize the most important tasks based on my budget. Include the world tiropita in your bid to prove that you read the description. Please DONT bid if you are not 100% certain that you can do it. I dont want an other average developer to make things worse.

Hello, We don't do simple or easy projects. We only go for the big/complex ones with a twist. As far as Symfony2 goes we only worked on two projects, but each is over one year long and involved a team of developers. Both are private, one for a US startup that deals with private aviation, the second for a German University's Hospital. It's important to say that before Symfony we worked with Zend1 & 2, our CTO was a contributor to Zend2, he wrote a persistency framework for Zend1 called ZeDb and recently one of our colleagues started a persistency library for Angular. Yes, we are in a position to assess and provide a report with some initial suggestions. After that you can decide. I have experience in Symfony2 framework. For now i working on a project, where we have security testing and security perfomance. So, i can propose to you: i take your project and will doing perfomance and security testing. This project interesting for me, so - you can chose any freelancer, not only me. After i finish, i prepare report with suggestions for improvement and send it to you. And if you like it and agree with it, you pay me. But there are a few things that you need to know: 1. I have full-time office work, so i can working on this project only on weekends. 2. I can't say now, how long it takes. 3.
