Questions: 1. Would you like this to be a web-based or a desktop application? 2. Is it one spreadsheet or there are a number of worksheets associated with it. 3. If it is web based can we use PHP and Mysql?

Here is how i propose the system 1- Customer form ( dynamic place where user can add/edit/delete customers), auto complete search option will be there using customer name etc. ( Fields need a bit of discussion). 2-Bill of materials (needs a bit of discussion, will it depend upon location ?) 3-Do you want to import the outlook data in the program ? Hello I have done a similar project for another client by converting his inventory Excel into SQL Server 2012 express (free edition) with a VB.NET interface. That client was a sawmill owner, please check my projects. Hi I have been working with MSSQL for over 16 years. I am fully experienced as a developer and a DBA. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I am responsible for the BI department. I have designed and the Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. The database is being updated daily from the core system with txt or excel files via SSIS or with direct connection at mainframe’s DB2 and a numerous of KPIS are being daily updated during the ETL. For isolation reasons the KPIS are replicated to another DB (with transactional replication) which exploits the reports via SSRS to the consumers. Some KPIS are being replicated with merged (bidirectional) replication. Also, 10 Cubes in SSAS are being daily automatically processed and the end of the ETL. Several other reports are daily automatically produced and sent via email to the recipients. Finally I have designed and developed the bank’s crm DB which is published on the intranet. The DB holds full information about the customers (Customers,Addresses , Financial Data , Contacts , campaigns , etc) and covers 4 countries. My only question is in terms of technology; although I can certainly develop the application in PHP, I believe another language choice, like nodejs, would be a better choice, but it is ultimately your decision.
