Modify wordpress theme previous and next pagination, so users can paginate through returned search strings.

We have a wordress theme that is a photo and data archive with over 1000 images, at the moment the wordpress previous and next pagination only moves within catergory. We would like to add a function to advanced search and loop so that when a search result is returned, the previous and next paginates through that search string, adding a position to the search url in the loop so users can browse through their search string will require custom php coding and altering two of the theme core files. Please put the words "Fixing Bridges" in the first line of you bid so we can see you have read and understood the above.
