Without taking a look at things, it's hard to say what issues your experiencing with the analytics implementation, but have you been able to locate the error log to see if it has any clues? I am certified Google Analytics expert and well versed with Wordpress. What i gather from your description was that you have placed Analytics tracking on the home page of your website. For analytics to track user data or to track conversions you need to place multiple analytics code throughout your website and set conversions in Google Analytics itself. I would be happy to help you with all this and Mailchimp popup as well.

Hi, As of GA - it seems like a cross-domain tracking issue. If your e-commerce site occasionally shows up as a referrer to you main site - that's the case. MailChimp popup shouldn't be a trouble too since you've got all the necessities at hand. If we sync our online presence hours and nothing unexpected shows up, then your site will be up and running in a few hours.
