Running a Magento site & need a back up site set up on another server for back up & testing purposes. The back up site is to be a direct mirror of the original one, with a script created to run each night that wipes the backup site and mirrors the live site again. Currently a small Magento site with approx 200 products but will increase to 5,000 products soon Site Specs: Magento v1.9.1 (will become 1.9.2 soon after this project) Linux Server Apache Version 2.2.27 PHP Version 5.3.28 MySQL Version 5.5.42-cll Perl Version 5.10.1 Architecture x86_64 cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1) Backup Site: Linux Server Apache Version 2.2.27 PHP Version 5.3.29 MySQL Version 5.5.44-37.3 we are happy to discuss alternative setups, and hoping to find good programmer to complete other tasks & projects

Good day, being a specialist in the field of web hosting I have set up multiple sites that needs to be in sync with the live server. The task is doable in 1 - 3 days. Steps that I would implement on the servers Creating a backup user that will be used for the syncing. The bash script will be placed in the cron tab to be executed on a scheduled time The script will do the following : Backup the site on the staging / testing server. Backup the database Copy the files from the live server Create a current backup of the database, copy it over and restore it on the stage / testing box. Build in a notification system that will test if everything was successful and notify via email.
