We are looking for a website developer to transfer our existing site to wordpress. Below are the key elements on the project. Many of the items are native to wordpress … - Port existing site [login to view URL] to wordpress. - Look and feel should remain exactly the same - Content will remain almost the same. Some updates needed e.g. o Add a subheading “Enabling Technology” under “Focus” and corresponding content o Add a subheading “Partners” under “Connect” and corresponding content - Need the ability to change the content on an ongoing basis very easily by ourselves using CMS. For e.g. o Add new bullet points to the News, Articles etc section o Developer should teach us how to do these updates - Developer should also let us know which sections of site cannot be changed easily, if any. - Site should be SEO/SMO friendly … there are some existing keywords, that should be included. - Site should be responsive and mobile friendly by knowing which device user is coming from. - Site should be easy to maintain by ourselves - Developer should first host site in a staging environment and perform solid Q&A tests. - Improve the site for current trends and technologies - Use our logo as favicon - Include a custom 404 page message and/or redirect to main page - Connect to linkedin, fb and twitter pages - Should be easy to perform analytics on the site Timeframe: 2-3 weeks. Any suggestions from the developer are welcome.

After carefully reading the description, this looks very doable. The plan is we will demonstrate you some of our prototypes on wordpress on our lab environment. we can work out on getting the design very close to the current design. Once you select the design, we will build the tailored website in 5 to 7 days with thorough testing in our lab environment first and once you approve, we can plan for the go-live. we will suggest you some plans to support the site after its live. We can hire someone to do the additional SEO/SEM work as we do not have expertise in that area. How fast can you share the details so that we can get started?
