Sync aome part of live site with test site

I need my website re-configured. I have a test site that im going to clone over the live site soon. I need to update some of the database before. The live site had some minor change made by user on their account setting and on their listing..
I dont want theme to lose any change they made.
Im open to your solution. I think easier is to take some table from live and insert them in test then clone test over the live.. but your the pro..
