You should know that this is not Microsoft SQL Server error message. It is a custom error message from your Point of Sale system. With that said, I have a lot of experience troubleshooting applications which hook up to SQL Server. If there are issue in SQL that are causing this, then I will find it. You are requesting help SQL Server by the error message: "qryInvInfo: Can not perform this operation on a closed dataset.". But the error of its application is that it does not open the dataset before starting operations. If your program was working well, would have to ask the question: Does the program has recently been updated? if the answer is yes, the fault can be the code of your system, the second question Does the fault occurs with that single process or with all other processes in the case ?, it all and the answer is negative in the first question, you can think of checking the server.
