I need an VPS built that will serve as a DNS server, and log all requests to a mysql database, with the date and time of request. Then I want an admin interface to look at the logs, show the most looked up domains, etc.

My proposition to you will consist in Cloud services (AWS) using Route53 and MySQL running on AWS RDS. Please let me know if this is a good starting point for your needs. I have worked previously for AWS Europe.
