Website development for self-publishing At present need consultancy services. If you can prepare a platform on which I can publish short stories (about 2000 words) and short books (about 50,000 words). Both will require simple graphics which I will ask for separately. I need to find out what will go into such a publishing website (software etc.) and the basic time and costs you will start from, for site development and maintenance. I will think of domain name registration and web hosting with you at a later stage, so please do not include that in the costs. Separately, you will need to let me know if I can enable e-commerce on the site, and how much that will cost in terms of time and money. I am an older person who has previously worked as a journalist, in U.K. as a health worker and now as a writer and editor on the net. In my last job I operated as the back office of a finance company from the U.S., publishing pre-written information on equities on the net. I was able to work on a publishing platform (first step – the dashboard), but do not know what went into its making. I am also aware of Wordpress, Publisher and Amazon Createspace. I understand html 5. I need to know what you will be utilizing for the specialized publishing site which should be for my use only (security concerns). Please also let me know if you will be able to train me on use of the site before it is uploaded. My material and ideas are ready. Will share those once you let me know about the basic costs.
