Create an HTML5 Drawing Canvas with Draw2D

I need to create a front-end for a drawing canvas that should be able to perform the following features: 1.) A main canvas that can scroll, and have new pages added to it. 2.) Ability to zoom. 3.) Object to grid feature and alignment lines. 4.) Left menu pane. 5.) Edit text labels It should be able to perform the following operations: 1.) Resize canvas size to different paper sizes * 2.) Add rectangular objects to canvas with labels attached * 3.) Add label objects to canvas * 4.) Add image placeholders to canvas * 5.) Enable drawing tools (line, rectangle, etc.) * 6.) Lock/unlock object control * * These controls should be accessed from a right click menu. User interface mockups are ready and show all command placements. This job is a matter of combining a few of the existing examples provided by Draw2D. All of these features are accomplished through a toolkit called Draw2D. They have demonstrations for each of these functions in their examples section so this code can be reused. This is for the front-end only, but knowledge of Ruby on Rails would be beneficial for when it will be integrated later.
