Cleanse data and lookup against database in Excel

Step 1 Verify whether the words entered in the columns of the "Data" tab appear in the corresponding columns in the "MVL" (database), and separate out any words that are not recognised terms in the MVL. Step 2 Look through the words that are not accepted and make a judgement whether the words are important or not, and take action. e.g. If the bodystyle in the data says "sedan" then this will not be recognised in the MVL as the MVL refers to this as "saloon". So this should be changed within the "Data" tab. e.g2. If the "Cars Type" says "1.9 JTDM 115" on the "Data" but the MVL only says "1.9 JTDM" then the term 115 can be removed. Step 3 Once a series of recognised terms is established then these should be treated like filters on the MVL. So the script should return the entries from the MVL which satisfy the filters in the relevant columns. There will usually be multiple lines returned for every line on the data sheet. Step 4 Check any entries that did not complete and establish why. I am not paying for the script - but I am paying for the service. I supply the raw data and you supply the results. Knowledge of car makes and models is preferable as some understanding is required. Generic bids will be ignored - provide specific bids that show understanding of the project. Also outline how you will achieve the results. Offer fixed price and timescale with an understanding of how long it will take you to complete. I will not accept add ons and people who make bids they cannot keep to will receive poor feedback scores. The initial project is for 1200 lines of data as in the file. If the project is successful, there is total 25000 lines of data for conversion, with possible ongoing work in the future - so it is important to establish a cost effective and efficient method to sort this data.
