Build an Online Store

1. We are on the BC Enterprise Plan. 2. We need template customisation to implement BC FACETED SEARCH FILTER. This feature is critical and would like a freelancer who has implemented this functionality on another bc site. This feature is already active on our store but not configured. 3. We have a reference sites as guides. Although it is not a BC sites, they have the filter and other functionality we are trying to emulate and the overall functionality we require. We are looking for a freelancer with the following: 1. Is available to start as soon as possible. 2. Is a good communicator and available when we need him. (eg skype/email) 3. Has experience implementing the faceted category filter and considers themselves a BC expert. This is not a gig you will be able to bluff your way through. The project team is delivery focussed with high expectations in regards to the performance of the successful freelancer. 4. We wish the job to be FIXED PRICE. IMPORTANT: Once engaged, we will need confirmation that current store inventory data architecture is correct. We are holding further imports until we get confirmation from developer that he is happy with the data structure before importing. We have an expert scraper who will work with you if there are any changes that need to be made to data structure. Our scraping activities have been under way for some time and will continue to run throughout the course of the project with regular imports being performed during store development. Although this store has 7.5k products already in inventory, the developer is to consider it a 'ground up' build. We currently have the 'Indiana' theme applied but the developer is welcome to use recommended 'blueprint' theme as is recommended by BC. More details will be provided at interview to enable the developer to make assessment of job and provide quote. Non-BC reference sites will be provided to provide guidance on the features and UX we wish to emulate Job entails configuration/coding/facilitation of following features: 1. Implementation of Faceted Product Filter (feature of BC Enterprise Plan). 2. A product set that will be sold via measurement (i.e. as in fabric sold by the meter) 3. Categorisation of selected products by price. i.e. $10 - $20 p/m, $20-30 p/m, $30-40 p/m etc 4. Display of price categorisation/range instead of price for products identified in point #3 above. 5. Sale of identified products by measure - eg; 1.7m of fabric (for products that will display price - These products will have pricing displayed (as opposed to hidden in #3 above) 6. Addition of an 'order sample' button. Assuming global hide prices set to 'off' by default, the additional button to be located on product pages where price range (rather than price revealed - see item #3 above). 7. Standard store configuration common to most eCommerce stores (eg; payment gateways) 8. Implmentation/configuration of yotpro and some other 3rd party plugins provided free to Enterprise customers via BC Marketplace. 9. A number of other customisations not detailed in this listing. 10. The store is to be responsive and optimised for mobile devices. We have high level technical solution identified for above points and require developer with sufficient experience and expertise to implement. This gig involves more than simple template customisations designed to render a 'pretty' store. The store is to be considered a ground up build from scratch with the exception of around 7.5k of products we have so far imported. There will be expectation of some interaction with scraping team during delivery of project. We would like the store delivered within 6 weeks with expectation of ongoing engagements as store further evolves.
