Job: Website renewal (New website to be made with Joomla) We would like to make a completely new website for our company. Here are the main requirements for this project: Platform: Joomla Industry: Business English training (Tokyo based company) Primary audience Japanese Website languages: Japanese and English (Bilingual website) Knowledge of Japanese is not necessary for the winning bidder for this project. However, we would like the worker to spend some time researching popular Japanese web pages to get a feel for what works in this country prior to starting designing the website. Coding language: Java, HTML, PHP (No flash) Website purposes/needs: 1. Promote services and products to current and existing clients (Sales oriented pages) 2. SNS compatibility; Facebook, Twitter etc. like/share buttons 3. Sitemap/SEO extension for automatic site indexing for search engines 4. Homepage slideshow to showcase company’s main promotion points 5. CMS essential (For sales/promotional pages as well as for learner’s pages) 6. E-learning section (text, picture, audio, video capabilities with sign up/log in system) 7. Audio recording tool (Desirable but not needed initially) 8. Basic Shopping cart for company’s range of textbooks (hard copies and digital copies) 9. Mobile friendly website; smartphones, tablets etc 10. We are currently researching which Joomla extensions we want integrated into the site. Design: Modern design utilizing the latest advancements; attractive header, cascading links table etc. Some design work needed for sales-oriented pages and some templates will be needed for the student pages.
