Summary Description: The application will be used to mine and call customers stored in an ACT database. The application needs to locate and dial the telephone number automatically. Once the number is dialed then the audio should be delivered to the agent who will be wearing a headset. The computer telephony hardware contains both the trunk port and the headset port. Specific Functions: 1 Automatically extract a telephone number from ACT (use the telephone number of the ACT record currently displayed on the screen) 2. Dial the telephone number 3. Bridge the audio from the trunk port to the headset port on the telephony card 4. After the call is complete, disconnect the call and dial the next ACT record that is displayed on the PC.
