Monthly P/L for [url removed, login to view] Overview: I need 2 account Profit/Loss summaries for end of month sales on Amazon.com. I want to be able to run a PERL program and have it generate the Amazon sold items report, then pull the costs from the Mysql database then calculate the P/L for each item and put the information back into the spreadsheet in the profit column. Then I want a summary of items (see example). Step 1: Generate the Amazon Sold Listings Report. I already have a piece of custom software that basically does this. Currently it is set to download the past 15 days, just needs to be set to 60 days and incorporated into software. Step 2: Download the Amazon Report and put data into database. Already have a piece of software that does this, just needs slight modification. Step 3: Pull item Costs from local Mysql database. Step 4: Remove items dated before or after the time period selected. (I want to be able to select a month July 04 and have it pick all items with a Payments-Date (Column heading in Amazon report) from July 1st to July 31st to show up. Step 5A: Delete columns: payments-status, order-item-id, payments-transaction-id, & batch-id. Step 5B: Create columns “Cost??, “Sub-total??, “FedEx??, “PROFIT?? between Price and Shipping fee columns. STEP 5C: Sort data by payments-date. Step 6: Calculate Profit and insert information into Excel cells. Cost = Taken from database Sub-total = (Price * .85) minus Cost FedEx = .75 (1 account) and .10 for the other. PROFIT = Sub-total minus FedEx Step 7: Create a summary section on the bottom of the page. For total items sold per sku, total total and then Profit per sku and total total. Average profit per sku (Sum all the profit for that sku then / divide by total number of items) Average sale price per sku (See spreadsheet for example). Step 8: Save file As: MM YYYY Amazon Sales (Account).xls ---------- EXCEL Spreadsheet example is also attached. -------
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Must be tested and work properly in Windows XP with ActiveState Perl (latest version). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION NEEDED: 1. Please reply with timeframe for delivery. 2. Estimated programming hours needed. 3. Current (and near future work load). 4. Past work experience (years) with Perl. 5. Do you have a Windows XP (or 2000) box with ActiveState Perl? I have a lot of additional projects that need programming.... Thanks!
