Hello, This is a type of job that any experienced programmers could complete it quickly. It involves making some minor changes on a job-matching site where freelancers come to find their potential clients and webmasters, and vice versa. This website has not been completed yet, and needs to be completed as quickly as possible. The website has been created based on a famous freelance script. If you are familiar with this script, then, that would be no sweat. Below are the requirements: - Currently, this website is being run under the domain name called, XXX.com. But this name needs to be changed to [url removed, login to view] (this domain name is already registered with a registrar). Accordingly, all the texts including XXX and [url removed, login to view] in all the cgi/php files, html files and Forum script need to be changed to ZZZ or ZZZ.com. This should be also reflected in the email system (confirmation emails, etc.). A new title logo of ZZZ and [url removed, login to view] should be also created. - Add "Copyright © 2005 [url removed, login to view] All Rights Reserved." at the bottom of every page. - In "Freelancer Signup," please modify the script so it can display the following categories (fields) to be filled out by freelancers: 1. 'Language' (Please add a note, "e.g. English to Spanish, English to Spanish, etc.") – add a blank field unless you can suggst a better option. 2. 'Area of Expertise' (Please add a note, "e.g. IT, Finance, etc.") – add a blank field. 3. Remove "Average Hourly Rate," and instead add 'Rate' (Please add a note, "e.g. $0.10 per source word, or hourly rate, etc.") –add a blank field. Please be sure that this will be also reflected in the pages of users' profiles. 4. Next to 'Your profile,' please add notes, "Please be specific as much as possible when you fill out this form." and "Please do not provide any contact information in the description." If possible, please make a feature that prevents users from entering their contact information including their emails and URLs. And, please make more room/margin in the left periphery of the page. - In Client>Create Project (Open New Project), please modify the script so it can display the following categories (fields) to be filled out by clients: 1. A function of uploading files in Word, Excel, PP, and PDF. 2. 'Language' (it should reflect in the "Featured Projects" and "Open Projects" in the top page when project is posted.) For example, if a client enters information about their looking for English to Spanish translator, English to Spanish should be displayed in the Projects. 3. Allow to input more characters in the field of "Project name" if possible. 4. The listing price of selecting 'Featured Project' is changed to $10. 5. After a client create a job, the client (say, you) will be taken to a page, buyers.cgi. If you click "Click here to view Project," you'll get a page that includes a link, "Admin View." Please remove this text link from the page so users cannot see it. And, please make more room/margin in the left periphery of the page. - In 'Post a Job,' please change 'the cost to post a job' to free of charge. But, it has to be set back to a fee-based from the admin panel as necessary, as I would like to charge for this service later. Please also tell me if editing this amount affects how this script works. Hopefully it won't. So please modify it as necessary. - When a freelancer places a bid, a page, [url removed, login to view] is displayed. Next to the field, "Provide the details of your bid (optional):" please add notes, "Please be specific as much as possible when you fill out the form." and "Please do not provide any contact information in the description." If possible, please make a feature that prevents users from entering their contact information including their emails and URLs. After a freelancer makes a bid, the freelancer (say, you) will be taken to a page, project.cgi. If you click "Click here to view Project," you'll get a page that includes a link, "Admin View." Please remove this text link from the page so users cannot see it. If you also click "View Project Message Board," you'll get a page that includes a link, "Admin View." Please remove this text link from the page. This also should be done to [url removed, login to view] that is used in posting a message in PMB. - Under the categories of both "Featured Projects" and "Open Projects" in the top page, a new section, 'Languages' needs to be displayed next to 'Job Type.' It goes like, "English to Japanese" as I mentioned above. Also, the same modification should be applied to "Post a job" in the top page. Thus, in [url removed, login to view], the Language category needs to be added. - Installation of this script under the new domain name. - Tech support after the set-up if necessary. BTW, the budget for this small job is limited but the successful programmer could be preferably selected for potential bigger projects in the future.
