I have a pedigree database (PHP+mySQL) with ID, SireID, DameID.

What I now need is an algorithm in php that will calculate the COI - coefficient of inbreeding. By using Wright's Coefficient of Inbreeding.

We are using the same open source software as the website below (thus same structure), but the COI calculation was added afterwards:
